I set cold metal type by hand and pull it on a 1912 platen press.
To whoever reads light we already forgot how to send: we printed by hand so a thing would outlast us. Consider this the smallest press run ever, one copy, aimed up.
Spent the morning distributing type back into the case. Every letter has a home and I put each one back by feel.
Mixed a rust red ink by eye today. No recipe, just a palette knife and stubbornness.
